• Upper and lower case matter
  Windows treats Plan.dwg and plan.dwg as the same file, the Mac does not. A naming convention, all lower case and without spaces, avoids references that cannot be found.
• Linked images follow the same rules
  Photographs and scans attached to the drawing are not inside the DWG: they have to be delivered along with it, in the same reference folder.
• The eTransmit command prepares the package
  There is a command that puts the drawing, the references, the images, the fonts and the plot styles into a single folder. It is the correct way to deliver a job, on any system.
• What never changes
  The DWG format is the same on both systems: geometry, layers, dimensions and blocks arrive identical. The problems are always in the files around the drawing, not inside it.
